You really need this cleaning kit with your Pax, the metal brush is useful to remove the filter and to clean the pipe, and you can finish it with the pipe cleaner. Filter could be cleaned but if you have a hard time removing resin from it, change it.

When a package shows that you're supposed to get a certain number of something and you don't, I get a little annoyed. The package clearly indicates 3 screens were supposed to come with this and I only got 2. Doesn't sound like a big deal but given that they're almost impossible to find where I live and that currently delivery through Canada Post can take a month or more, it's kind of a pain in the ass. The products I did get were great, but just be aware that you may not get what you think your getting in terms of quantity.
